Lancashire by Night (Chorley)
Londons a lost cause, they’re drinking spiked blood and infighting over the shard vaults. We send scouts and vassals south to no avail… But who are you? A thin-blooded newborn plucked from the feeding lines or a centuries old creature disconnected from anything not as immortal as you are. A Vampire the Masquerade game open to all players.

Sam (Huntingdon)
(35m) Long time DM - run many games in many systems (D&D 5e, Starfinder 2e, Lancer, Mausritter, Mothership). Looking to run a short in person campaign with options to do further games after on a fortnightly cadence for up to 4 players. I enjoy a mix of horror, science fiction and dark fantasy but with an element of campiness to them - previous years I've run multi year 5e campaigns using Curse of Strahd as a base and since then a variety of shorter campaigns. I'd likely be looking to start with something using a system like Mausritter (tiny mice knights, but in a people sized world!) and then extend from there if there is interest.

New posting as my old one on here is more than a year old at this point A little about me: I started playing D&D 10+ years ago at a games store in Bromley that is now unfortunately no longer there, so I started hosting/running D&D games out of my parent's home for my friends but found that I was, at the time, struggling to find enough people to run decent sessions. I now have a roster of approx. 10 or so people who I regularly play with, most of those I have taught how to play the game myself so as a result our table is very accommodating to all levels of experience. I'm 27 years old, Male and usually I am the DM for any sessions that I run from home (though I wouldn't be opposed to being a player every once in a while!) I generally run games in one of two formats; Oneshots, where the start, middle and end are wrapped up nicely in a single standalone session which requires no knowledge of any existing characters or locations. These are somewhat linear as I typically have a specific story to tell during these. These oneshots are a good opportunity to try out new classes or character builds, or just try out a few different character personalities without too much fear of being 'locked in' long term to a character you dont know if you like yet. Campaigns, which are more long term. These are story arcs told over several sessions and require a single character to be used consistently each time we meet. These are much more freeform and 'sandboxy' and broadly, the party can do whatever it is that they like to explore the world and there are usually many available plot strings that could be followed. I have run campaigns of lots of different lengths over the years, ranging from a few weeks all the way up to a multi-year storyline. My groups tend to lean towards narrative storytelling with some roleplay elements rather than dungeon crawls, with some players being confident enough to do voices and such, but the extent to which you may wish to take part is entirely up to you (many players find it easier to narrate their character's actions and dialogue in third person until they are comfortable with the group) we are perhaps less focussed on being combat heavy, though there will usually be 1-3 encounters per session that could lead in that direction depending on player actions. I personally like to reward player creativity and prioritise telling a good story over 'players vs DM' types of games. Shoot me an email if any of this sounds like it might be your thing, if we're broadly on the same page about expectations for any games, maybe we can meet up in a 'neutral space' such as a hobby shop or similar, or arrange a call on discord or whatsapp (I don't tend to invite people into my home when meeting them for the first time)

I'm a 29 year old living in Wokingham looking for some regular groups to play DnD 5e (2024) with. About 4 years ago, some of my friends got me into playing DnD 5e and I have loved it both as a player and a DM. I still feel somewhat inexperienced as I haven't been able to regularly play due to my friends living far away and would love to find some groups local to me that could meet more regularly. I'm happy to DM to a more inexperienced group who are starting out or join a party as a player.

Lajos (Bristol)
Hello! I'd like to form a tabletop RPG party with 2-4 people who want to play regularly. I'm a bit old school, have GM experience, and haven't played for a while. Preferred systems: Vampire: Masquerade, Dark Ages; Earthdawn 2nd ed.; Shadowrun 2nd ed.; Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd, 4th or 1st ed (I haven't played in this world yet). I started learning about Daggerheart, but it's quite a new experience for me. Unfortunately, the D&D isn't interested in me: there are better worlds/systems out there. Thanks.
