I've only played a few ttrpg with friends and family, and even then it's been almost 20 years now since I've last played (in college, and now 37): D&D - last ruleset played was 3rd edition when d20 system was introduced, Warcraft ttrpg - 2nd edition (only briefly), S.L.A Industries - 1st edition. I'm not the most confident of people (ASD), so beginner groups or those not requiring serious performances (can still think and take actions as a character would, just can't act out their persona) Ideally would like to find a group for D&D using core set rules or close to them rather than full homebrew

Hello! I used to play DND a lot back in 2020-2022 but I took a hiatus and I want to get back into it. Preferably I would love to play Curse of Strahd or Vecna: Eve of Ruin but I don't mind playing anything else. If anyone was interested I would love to play a tabletop version of Baldur's Gate 3 but the custom characters and their backstories are more plot relevant, and make our own paths in the story of BG3. Because I haven't played in years I might need help with making any character sheets and help remembering the rules. I'm am LGBTQIA+ and 23 years old. Due to me not having my own vehicle I cannot attend sessions outside of the city. Preferably I would like to have the games be hosted in public spaces like games shops (but not a deal breaker). I would prefer to do the campaign in real life but I'm happy to do online too. Before we start I would love to meet the group first and to get to know everyone- this will allow everyone to meet me and for me to meet everyone so we're more familiar with eachother before game time. Because of the intense heat that we are currently experiencing I would like to suggest starting the campaign when it gets a little cooler (unless we go somewhere that has great air conditioning).
