I am a 23 year old DND enjoyer, I have DM'd for a while and played a couple times, i'm quite experienced in 5E and know most about 5.5E, I can be a bit of a rules lawyer but am wanting to find a group to play with as I do not want to be a forever DM anymore, I can get to most places in Chesterfield mostly by walking, the town center would be the easiest for me but if you ask I can check if the locale is doable, I can also play whatever class the group decides but have a preference for a Warlock/Bard multiclass most of the time, sometimes just full Warlock

I am seeing how much interest there is in a weekly ongoing game starting soon (either LEEDS or YORK may work). If there is genuine interest we'll arrange a firm time etc, but if not I will scrap the idea and keep playing online. I have been playing and running RPGs since the early 1980s and welcome beginners and experienced players alike, ideally 4 or 5 players plus me, but no more than that. Characters can be made online, or in person in advance. What? D&D 2nd ed or more likely Runequest, but certainly not D&D 5th edition. Where? This depends on the locations of players. Maybe we can alternate hosting in the areas N or E of Leeds or W of York. It will not be in the city centre. When? Wednesday evenings starting at 7 pm or thereabouts. About you: Beginners are more than welcome, we all have to start somewhere. The only essential criteria are RELIABILITY and COMMUNICATION; I would request that if you say you are playing you turn up unless you let the rest of us know in advance. Multiple no shows and non-response to my messages within 3 days of any message I send will not be participating.

I'm a D&D player of reasonable experience (close to a decade give or take) recruiting for players on behalf of a DM that's been playing a little longer than me for a new campaign we're trying to get off the ground revolving around the mythos of ancient Greece in a world where people can strive towards challenging the gods themselves and those who've usurped their titles for their power. It will be a very slow burn campaign, starting at Level 2 and working our way up from there, currently scoping out to gauge interest from others looking to participate.
