I played two D&D campaigns that fizzled out after a couple of sessions when I was in university. However, after recently listening to some D&D playthroughs (Tales from the Stinky Dragon, GIGGS D&D), it's inspired me to want to try playing with a group again! Definitely a beginner but with some knowledge of D&D, and open to learning other TTRPGs. I'm available most evenings Sun/Mon/Tues/ Weds/Thurs. Hello! I used to play DND a lot back in 2020-2022 but I took a hiatus and I want to get back into it. Preferably I would love to play Curse of Strahd or Vecna: Eve of Ruin but I don't mind playing anything else. If anyone was interested I would love to play a tabletop version of Baldur's Gate 3 but the custom characters and their backstories are more plot relevant, and make our own paths in the story of BG3. Because I haven't played in years I might need help with making any character sheets and help remembering the rules. I'm am LGBTQIA+ and 23 years old. Due to me not having my own vehicle I cannot attend sessions outside of the city. Preferably I would like to have the games be hosted in public spaces like games shops (but not a deal breaker). I would prefer to do the campaign in real life but I'm happy to do online too. Before we start I would love to meet the group first and to get to know everyone- this will allow everyone to meet me and for me to meet everyone so we're more familiar with eachother before game time. Because of the intense heat that we are currently experiencing I would like to suggest starting the campaign when it gets a little cooler (unless we go somewhere that has great air conditioning). 40M, friendly, chatty, and a bit daft. Have worn my fair share of silly costumes and do a very respectable gollum voice. Played many tabletop board games and computer based RPGs, but I've only ever dabbled in tabletop RPGs. I've always been curious, but never found a group or a DM. Dad to two children (ages 9 and 10) who are with me half the time - I could play Monday/Tuesday evenings or alternate Fri/Sat/Sun when they're with their mum.
