Watched a lot of channels like Oxventure but only played one shot of Lost Mines of Phandelver and played some Baldur's Gate 3. Looking to learn D&D but I am a complete beginner. I am willing to read and do homework before sessions to be as prepared as possible but will need some guidance to pick up rules as I go. I'm looking for a party who is comfortable with a newbie. Would prefer in person but happy with online sessions too.

I have limited experience as a player, but mild to moderate experience as a GM, I'm more interested in being a player at present. The system I'm most experienced with is Savage Worlds and DnD however I'm happy try any system. I'm interested in joining an inclusive group with more focus upon roleplay than combat, that being said with the right group I'm happy to join any table so long as it's not built around an adversarial relationship with the GM.

I'm 47 I play DND as a DM every week for old school friends. I never get to be a player so looking to join a group. I prefer dark fantasy /grim dark. I'm a Hugh fan of the First law novels. Games I'm interested in include Symbaroum, Forbidden lands, Blades in the dark and anything Cthulhu based.
