(23-Male) I've been DM'ing for a couple years now and have been creating my own homebrew world for the same amount of time :) I like to run pretty serious games but that's not to say I don't like the goofy side of DnD. I like to tell a good colaborative story with my players and I love seeing their backstories fleshed out in the world and see their characters grow to something they want them to be! Although I do equally like putting people in peril and punishing their characters for stupid in-world decisions (if they are made, which they most often are lol)

Looking for group local to Gainsborough. Can possibly bring one or two regulars if you have a small /No group Cut my teeth playing 3.5e back at University, but I'm very familiar with 5e. I've played in Pathfinder, Dread and Dark Heresy games briefly. Following the SRD debacle I've been moving away from 5e to indie systems like Wildsea, Lancer and more recently Mothership (thanks Quinn's Quest...!) I enjoy a good balance between roleplay and butting up against rules based puzzles and combat - though it takes me a while to warm to a new group when it comes to role play 😅 I'd like to play more different games and play with the same group - I'm new to the area so it'd be great to meet some people up here. The gritty stuff - Bazz (any) 34 / Masc. Happily married. Zero tolerance for discriminatory behaviour. I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies including tabletop (obviously) and I run the official unofficial Gaslands discord/sub, woodworking, programming, cooking and art. I used to love videogames, but a good one is so rare these days...! 😅 I'm also quite interested in philosophy and politics - but I try not to let it get in the way 😆🤐 Anyway - that's my life story. I hope to find a like-minded group to play a lot of games that are off the beaten path, or sink my teeth into a longer campaign. Happy to meet digitally or hybrid if you prefer "tryouts".
