I have never played a TRPG before, but I own a few DnD core books. I would love to start playing, but I don't know anyone. I'm happy to drive a little if needed. 27 year old guy, been playing D&D since 2018. Primarily 5e but I've branched out to a few conversions and other systems previously. For the last 3 years I've been an on-and-off DM, whether that's one-shots or the two campaigns I ran to "completion" (narrative stopping point where someone else took over as DM for their 'season'). Always play with a little bit of homebrew as the default rules can feel restrictive/too mechanical at times (such as flanking leading to the conga line of death), but often rely on the rulebook and "rule of cool". Looking to join and/or run chill games with a local group who enjoys the game, ideally with similar interests to make new friends at the same time :)

M17. I have got around a year of gameplay and I will roleplay once I’m comfortable with a group. I have and will DM if need to be. I would say I’m fairly experienced as a DM but not the best as I’ve only DMed once but I would be willing to try again. I’m able to go a fair distance to meet on most nights and will show up to sessions.
