Experienced RPG player. I've played a good amount of RPG games from D&D B/X all the way through to 5e. I favour a group who can have a joke and a laugh, but prefers to play gritty, pulpy fantasy worlds. Think Conan. Think "3D6 Down the Line" on Youtube. I have a new found love for games that fall into the OSR category, OSE, DCC, Mörk Borg, Shadowdark & that kind of thing. More into narrative and theatre of the mind, than measuring distances and the VTT maps rabbit hole. Looking for some good ol' old-school, face to face gaming, ideally with a drink and snacks.

About Me: Hey there! I’m Laura, a 23-year-old biomedical science student with a bit of a quirky side. I’ve been playing D&D for about a year, and while I'm still learning the ropes, I’m having a blast exploring all the wacky and creative things D&D lets you do. Outside of the game, I’m a bit of a “weirdo” (in the best way, of course!) with a mix of hobbies and a passion for anything that embraces the chaotic, random side of life. What I’m Looking For in a Game: I’d love to find a relaxed, fun-focused D&D game with a group that leans more toward storytelling and laughs than anything too serious. My first D&D experience was a bit intense and combat-heavy, almost like Critical Role’s style, which was cool but not quite my vibe. I felt more at home with a Dimension 20-style game, where the focus was on fun, unexpected chaos, and a bit of randomness in every situation. I’m looking for a group of like-minded folks who want to create hilarious, unpredictable stories and have a great time together. What I Hope to Find in a Group: Honestly, I’m not just looking for a game; I’m hoping to find a group of friends I connect with both in and out of the game. A group that enjoys laughing together, supports each other's creative ideas, and embraces a bit of weirdness would be ideal for me. I’m in it for the adventure, the shared stories, and the friendships that come from them.
