24, male, churl. New to the game. Looking for a fun and semi-regular social for the fleeting weekends. Based in Conwy. My usual stomping grounds are between Menai and St Asaph, and as far south as Dolgellau. Getting into table top DnD has interested me for a while now, and after having thoroughly enjoyed my time playing BG3, I am keen to experience an authentic DnD experience in person. Ideally, I'd like to join a group of somewhat experienced players (no boomers though, unless they're sound) with the patience to take on a raw recruit, and if there's room for knocking back some drinks whilst we're at it, more's the better. I've looked around some and the scene up here seems pretty dead, so if any other newcomers want to get a group started lets get it done, we'll figure it out and have our first adventure in doing so. If any experienced players are willing to trade sage knowledge for booze, hit me up and we can talk details.

Experienced RPG player. I've played a good amount of RPG games from D&D B/X all the way through to 5e. I favour a group who can have a joke and a laugh, but prefers to play gritty, pulpy fantasy worlds. Think Conan. Think "3D6 Down the Line" on Youtube. I have a new found love for games that fall into the OSR category, OSE, DCC, Mörk Borg, Shadowdark & that kind of thing. More into narrative and theatre of the mind, than measuring distances and the VTT maps rabbit hole. Looking for some good ol' old-school, face to face gaming, ideally with a drink and snacks.

Has anyone out there managed to find a good Pathfinder group that meets online or in person? I'm a bit anxious about it, so any advice would be really appreciated!
