Hi. I’m interested RPG gaming, and I created the fantasy world of Ordinem. This includes adventures, stories, compendia, a novel and other content. My gaming style is rules light in order to keep the drama and pace moving when the action starts, especially in combat, as it is the drama that makes adventure really fun and memorable. Although I am not full-on grimdark I do like gritty adventure. I value the reality that adventuring is dangerous and that characters can be killed, especially if they charge into situations recklessly - or heroically. Though that can create great stories that will be told around the hearth for many years to come. This danger adds to the suspense and thrill of an adventure, as well as the rewards for success. I am also interested in exploration and social interaction. Characters can learn about the world they are in by having adventures in cities, landscapes and of course dungeons. They can also discover the world by role playing their characters and interacting with NPCs that help to add colour and adventure to games. Players will find that NPCs are not all two dimensional, as they may have their own agendas, aspirations and challenges. I also like low tech worlds that on the surface are medieval based, until magic and monsters burst onto the scene. Super hero style D&D does not appeal to me, and cuddly worlds where every monster is your friend is defiantly not me either. Adventures can be free standing or as part of an ongoing campaign, where one adventure may lead on to the next. This may be a fixed scenario, open world or western marches approach. I am interested in playing face to face in my own town, or online using a VTT (Virtual TableTop).
