They enjoy playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Traveller, Fate and more. Past events have included Gateway Game Day, Dungeon Crawl Classics Session 0, Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves IMAX 2D Experience and Call of Cthulhu: Britannia & Beyond. The Bucks/Montco Roleplaying Meetup Group

This group facilitates people living in the suburbs to come together and play physical roleplaying games, such as D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu, or LARP. Over time, multiple game groups of varying sizes will be offered as each DM/GM sets their own parameters and rules. Previously, they have held events such as AD&D 1e Classic Role Playing Game, DnD 5e One-Shot, Save Against Fear 2017, and Pseudo Home-Brew Campaign 5E, and 546 members are currently involved with the group.

I am inviting small groups of 4-6 individuals to my game of AD&D, which involves exploring dungeons, fighting monsters, gathering loot, and also engaging in roleplaying and embarking on quests across the world of Greyhawk. Current players are between 1st and 3rd level; similarly, new players will start at the first level. For those interested, please contact me. I have already held 10 previous events, such as their raid on the Temple of the Cult, taking on the Cult of the Reptile God, venturing off Into the Woods, and setting a trap for a Devil. There are currently 51 members.

OSE Dungeons & Dragons & Other OSR RPGs

Gabriell and 137 others My name is Gabriell and I've been playing and running Dungeons & Dragons for a long time. I'm trying to start a group of South Jersey players who enjoy Old School Dunegons & Dragons, and a few other OSR Role Playing Games. I'm also willing to play if someone else wants to be in the Game Master role. I'm using a combination of D&D 1st Edition and/or Basic D&D (B/X or BECMI) rule sets, as well as content from the Old School Renaissance and Revival movements. Games I host will focus more on the crunchy side, rather than in-depth narrative, with the understanding that characters might die. I'm looking to meet once a month, potentially with a pub night to chat, but the main location is yet to be decided. Ultimately, this isn't about creating a "community" or having a Game Master overseeing everyone's fun. We're here to enjoy playing with other like-minded folks, so if this sounds like your kind of thing, join us!

Our events provide a safe, welcoming environment for experienced and new players alike. We focus on running one-shot adventures tailored to new players. Player characters can be pre-made or provided by D&D Beyond, and play time is about four hours. Can’t make it? That’s ok! Each game is a stand-alone and so you won’t fall behind. If you’re struggling with something, our DM will help you out. Races and classes depend on your DM, but anything published and playtested is generally accepted.
