I used to play 9th Ed 40k with a freind of mine years ago, but since then I've lost touch with the game. It's moved on a lot and I've not got anyone to get back in to it with anymore. I'm looking for some other beginner, or very patient current warhammer players willing to teach. I'd love to get in to a game like DnD but I've never played before and I know it's difficult finding people willing to introduce complete newbies in to groups that know what they're doing. But if anyone's looking to start a group with beginners, I'm in.

I've been playing TTRPGs for the last 5ish years after getting invested in Critical Role's second campaign. Most of my experience is in D&D 5e but I've also played a little Pathfinder 2e, GURPS, Savage Worlds, and Star Trek Adventures. I've also GM'd various campaigns, a couple of which were long running. I really enjoy campaigns with a more of an emphasis on roleplay and collaborative story telling but I do also love a classic dungeon crawl from time to time. Happy to play or GM.

Hi! I'm David, 40 years old this year, he/him, and I've been playing and loving TTRPGs (and RPGs in general) for the past 26 years. I've played every iteration of D&D except the OG, and I've run one-shots and campaigns using 3E, 3.5, 4E and 5E; I played Pathfinder (First Edition) during the " 4E is not D&D" era, and have been looking into Second Edition during the pandemic. I love PbtA (with Monster of the Week and City of Mist being my favourites), I have dabbled in the Storytelling system (Vampire: the Masquerade & Werewolf: the Apocalypse) and the New World of Darkness (Werewolf: The Forsaken & Mage: The Awakening), and I've tried or tried to run several other systems & rulesets (e.g., Cypher system, Tiny D6, 13th Age, Fantasy A.G.E., A Song of Ice & Fire RPG, and I'm sure a few others). Looking forward to a relaxed, immersive, narrative-oriented, but still number-crunching enthusiast to play with and to run games for :)
