I have never played DnD before as a player, I tried as a DM when my father bought me a starter pack for Christmas. I love board games, my dad is a big collector of all types of games, and when I stay with him we have a games nigh once a week. I love the fantasy genre, books, movie and TV shows In that genre are the ones I enjoy the most.

Played and DM'ed a fair amount of 5th edition and variations - looking to start a new 5.5/2024 DnD campaign in early 2026 and want to meet players of similar-ish age (I'm 42) ideally in Weymouth. I'd like to try and meet up this year so we can see if we're a good fit and discuss what we want in the game - currently have plans in place for a couple of short adventures which can expand into a wider ongoing campaign. I played DnD many yeaars ago and I have just started again; playing 5e (2014 rules) at Boss Miniatures (TKS). There are just too gaps in play due to popularity so I want to find a group to play more often with. I'm in my mid 40's, exited to play DnD. A beginner still but with enough knowledge to be able to play with no issues. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly would be fine. I unfortuntley can't host a game and I'm not able to DM.
