Love trying to optimise a character build, but I am happy to play with minimal optimisation too. Preferably in Derby, but I could probably do Nottingham as well. Depending on travel costs other nearby cities/towns are also feasible.

Hey guys, My name is Luke, I am a representative of a d&d social group which regularly does three to five tables a week at the Carnero Lounge in Derby on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we welcome all comers who want to try out d&d or looking for a regular group to our growing community. We impose no fees ourselves for joining the group or playing, can even provide character sheets and welcoming of all players of different experience. We mainly play 5e 2014 rules. We have been running games for three years now and are on our second campaign.
