New to Derby, keen to form or join an in person weekday evening type group to meet people and have a nice fun weeknight thing to look forward to. In my 30s, been playing since a little before 5e came out. I've played a fair few systems and oscillate wildly on whether I prefer playing or gming, so would be happy to run or play. When I GM, I find 5E hard to run and love to explore other systems/games, like Numenera/cypher system (weird science fantasy), Delta Green (x files investigate cthulhu), OSR games, powered by the apocalypse and more. I'm currently trying to write the beginnings of a climate fiction cyberpunk heist campaign using forged in the dark.

The pitch? Rumours spread of a mysterious area, filled with unexplainable phenomena, near the village of Ilmenton. In a rush for riches, power and science, people descend upon Ilemnton in droves. The adventurers may have different motivations for coming to Ilmenton; however, a series of suspicious incidents lead them closer and closer to "the Belt".
