Looking for one player for our ongoing sci-fi game, every Friday night from 7-10pm in a game store in Redhill. Currently four players plus GM, we’d like a fifth player. System: Stars Without Number, Revised Edition. Style: In-person, sandbox Time: 7:00-10:00pm every Friday Age: must be 18+ Place: Local Game Store Campaign: We use Stars Without Number Revised ruleset which is a d20 system, very easy to follow if you’re new or if you’ve only played D&D. The game style is a player-led sandbox with a mix of exploration, combat and social. The game is low sci-fi like Firefly, The Expanse or Aliens but with weird psychic powers, aliens, androids and such like Star Wars. We play at a local games shop which charges £6pp for room hire, so there is a small cost involved but this does mean it is a safe environment, and that we are all committed to attend regularly to play. If you’re local, over 18 and can commit to a regular Friday sci-fi game, whether you’re new or experienced, get in touch!

I've been playing D&D 5e pretty much for the last 5 years, although I haven't properly played in over a year. I DM'd a 5e campaign for about a year which ended abruptly. I have played bits of other systems like Masks: A New Generation and a Star Trek RPG and I'm looking to try some more. I have mostly only played online on Discord but I really want to play some in-person games. I'm open to DM/GMing games but I'd rather just be a player while I get used to in-person play. I have also been writing some of my own systems which I'd like to playtest in the near future.

Past experiences at table top board gaming is pretty much zip. I have always contented myself with painting miniatures. The truth is I have always wanted to play DnD or a similar rpg; I first saw it played back in primary school between some teachers and have always had the bug but not necessarily the time or family.
