Personality:I can be a little shy at first as i try to gauge people's vibes but im pretty chill person, cracking jokes which can be a lil scuffed. I'm a 34-year-old man based in Canterbury, looking to join a tabletop RPG group. I'm relatively new to playing TTRPGs with a group, but I have quite a bit of experience playing solo. For the past while, I've been using systems like Old-School Essentials, Scarlet Heroes, Cairn, Kal-Arath, Troika!, and even classic Fighting Fantasy gamebooks primarily as creative prompts for my writing. While I absolutely love this side of the hobby, I'm really missing the social dynamic and the collaborative storytelling that comes from playing with other people. I'm keen to actually roleplay a character within a party! System-wise, I'm very interested in finding a group playing games in the OSR style. OSE, original B/X D&D, Shadowdark, or similar rulesets would be ideal. I'm also particularly eager to try out Mothership or Troika! in a group setting, and I'm very intrigued by Dolmenwood. My preference is definitely for narrative-first gameplay, where the story, atmosphere, and character interactions are the main focus. I'm friendly, enthusiastic, and looking to find a welcoming, regular group to share some adventures and hopefully make some new friends in the hobby.
