Seattle Dungeons & Dragons Newbie Sessions

Welcome to Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (the latest version) in a comfortable and inviting space! New and experienced players are both welcome! Our one-shot adventures are designed with newcomers in mind; ask questions, learn the ropes, and make new friends! Pre-made characters can be used, or create your own with D&D Beyond. The games tend to last around 4 hours, so plan to arrive on time and update your RSVP status as needed. Go to the individual events to see more details. If you have no experience, don't be intimidated – there are probably going to be many people in the same boat. Spectators aren't allowed as past experience showed that it can be disruptive to the group. However, the DM will provide help and ideas if you're stuck. Generally, any officially published and playtested races and classes are acceptable. Visit the website for official information, and the Discord server, FAQs, and resources pages for more details. Plus, check out the list of past events to learn what you can expect.

Renton Board Game group

Karen D We are getting back on track by hosting board game sessions in different places around Pierce County, the Lake Tapps/Bonney Lake area, and from time to time in Renton brewery locations. Specifically, we like the Hop Garden in Downtown Renton and the Brewmaster's Tap Room on Benson Road in Renton. We are also looking for more suitable locations with fewer restrictions where games can be played indoors as the weather gets colder and wetter. If you know of any great venues in the South King County, Renton area, please let us know. During this pandemic, we are trying to resume our game meetups while abiding by the WA Health mandates. We are also thankful for our past Renton area hosts at the Brewmasters Tap Room and the Hop Garden. However, the Brewmaster's Tap Room faces periodic closure for private parties and our meetings at the Hop Garden are solely outdoors, so we are still searching for a better place to host our events. If you would like to join us or know of a good venue, please contact us. Check out our online schedule for updated information regarding our meetups. We accept individuals 21+ interested in modern board games such as Dixit, Istanbul, Catan, Carcassonne, Samurai, Small World, Splendor, Red Dragon Inn, Las Vegas, Sagrada, Azul, Africana, etc. Adrianne has her own collection of board games, so if you'd like her to bring any of those, please let her know. Come join us if you're a moderate drinker, fond of board games, and looking for an enjoyable time with some interesting conversations in a respectful setting. Smoking needs to be done outside the venue.
