East Bay Martian Society - Tabletop SciFi RPGs

Are you looking for something different than the typical fantasy RPG? This group focuses on Science Fiction and indie Tabletop RPGs for those who want a different kind of adventure than Dungeons & Dragons. All players, regardless of experience level, are encouraged to join. Possible games include homebrew StarFinder, Monster of the Week, Call of Cthulhu, & FateCore, and we'll be meeting online during the shelter-in-place period. Past events include the ROOT RPG One Shot, GURPS Dungeon Fantasy RPG, GM Round Table, and a Game Mastering Workshop with Gabriel as organizers. Currently members include 234 people.

PPP (PoC Pathfinder Party)

We also host Watch Parties for many of the popular Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows on TV, giving people the choice between first runs or reruns. San Francisco Dungeons & Dragons Newbie Sessions

Explore Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, the latest version, in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Newcomers and veteran players are both welcome! Each game offers pre-made characters and ones that can be rolled on D&D Beyond. Sessions last approximately 4 hours, so please show up on time and keep your RSVP accurate. Don't worry if you're new and don't know much, most people that come to Newbie Sessions don't! Unfortunately, spectating is not allowed. Race and class availability may vary per DM. If you missed the last game, don't worry- each game is independent of one another. Even if you're not comfortable roleplaying or being creative, we have your back and will help you along the way. Oakland Renegades Dragon Boat Team

elan J The Oakland Renegades Dragon Boat Club invites the community to come experience the sport of dragon boating. No experience is needed and all age and fitness levels are welcome. Paddling with an established team, people of all levels are in good company. All gear is provided along with instruction for beginners. The first 3 times are free to determine if the sport is right for you, and after that, membership requires a minimal fee. Before attending any practice, individuals must have had a full vaccination and it must be at least two weeks since the end of the series. Additionally, anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or who has been diagnosed must have a negative test within 10 days of symptom onset, and at least 24 hours without a fever without medication. Practice happens every Saturday at the Jack London Aquatic Center in Oakland at 10:15 AM until 12:00 PM, and additional weekday practices will begin February 2022.

There are upcoming events taking place in the Bay Area, such as a Dungeons & Dragons 5e Adventure League held every Thursday and Saturday at Knights Rampart in Berkeley and Anime Imports in Pacifica, respectively. These events are open to all levels of experience, and those with Adventure League character just need to provide a full Adventure Log. We are a group of D&D players in the East Bay area who are looking to join or create new 5th Edition D&D groups. All levels of players are welcome, from first-timers to experts. If you need players for your group or are looking for a team, post here. We also have regular social meet-ups to get to know each other and introduce new players to the wonderful world of D&D. Summon The Dragon (Dragon Boat Team)

urs is a dragon boat racing team aspiring to have fun, be fit, and win medals. We practice weekly, and race at local, national, and international levels. Anybody is welcome to join us for a training session at the Grand Street boat ramp in Alameda every Sunday at 9:30 am. Boats, paddles, Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs), safety equipment – all are provided at no charge. All it takes to be a part of the team is your presence! Dungeons and Dragons (5th edition) for newbies

This group is for anyone and everyone who's ever been curious about D&D 5th Edition but didn't feel they had the experience to join in with experienced players. Join us and make some mistakes as we explore all the amazing worlds of D&D! Experienced players are always welcome either to join a campaign or DM for the newcomers. Currently, we have three groups with weekly campaigns, and we are always looking for DMs who can help create even more gaming groups. We've held over 744 events in the past, and have 599 members so far.
