I used to play and DM back in the 80s/early 90s - mainly AD&D/2nd Edition but also Call of Cthulhu, MERP and others. Have DMd a couple of times since for my kids but would love to try my hand at playing again with a local group.

I am a father of two and work in digital and have been playing TTRPGs for longer than I care to admit. Unfortunately, I've only played spottily (3.5e & 5e D&D and a bit of Numenera) since the Pandemic and am itching to join a regular in-person group, ideally as a player. As a player, I like the intersection between role-playing, puzzles, combat, and bad puns. As a DM, I have quite a bit of 3.5 DM experience and have run a couple of 1 shots 5e, albeit I am rusty and players would need to be a bit forgiving as I shake the rust off.
