Hi, I'm Barry. I'm 50 something and new to Devon but have been a player & GM for 30+ years. I prefer grim toned games, by which I mean I like realism and lower fantasy rather than high camp fantasy or extreme themes. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Ars Magica, Fading Suns, Call of Cthulhu are my usual go-to systems, but happy to try others. I'm considering running a DnD campaign set in the Midnight/Shadow system (Think Sauron won and you play freedom fighters) I may be older, but I'm not old in mind and consider myself very tolerant. Would like to build a group that shares GM'ing duties - I can gm but would like to play occasionally longer term.
