Played and DM'ed a fair amount of 5th edition and variations - looking to start a new 5.5/2024 DnD campaign in early 2026 and want to meet players of similar-ish age (I'm 42) ideally in Weymouth. I'd like to try and meet up this year so we can see if we're a good fit and discuss what we want in the game - currently have plans in place for a couple of short adventures which can expand into a wider ongoing campaign. I have never done one shots before so I'm always in it for the long haul. I have been out of the loop for a few years due to responsibilities at home but have never stopped writing material. I have no venue access so I'm looking to join a table (preferably new) AS A PLAYER to begin with and one day get into DMing homebrew player centered campaigns again. Open to co-DMing and seasonal stuff. I like RP, Dark fantasy/Light grimdark, Deep lore and a Compelling storyline littered with action and drama. I am very newbie friendly and enjoy walking people through everything and creating custom systems and niches for my players. I have done it many, many times! I am quite young but have lots of knowledge of the game, I absolutely love the game and want to always play and I hope this is a good solution for that problem, I have flexible timings but not all the time, I can roll with pretty much anything as long as people take the game seriously enough and don't ruin it for other people. I am happy with pretty much any campaign and very up for self made ones. I am 12 but don't mind adult-ish stuff. I am a huge fan of Hell or High Rollers. Can DM if necessary but mainly am a player.
