But due to health issues , work commitments & relocating from west midlands to NE lost touch with Gaming. have a large amount of games( most from 80s & 90s and happy to DM. I'm a little out of practice & confidence and looking for players who are easy going or new to the hobby with a little Patience, and a sense of humour is essential. (my favourite game is COC Horror)

My girlfriend and I are wanting to start/be part of a queer friendly DnD group. Seeking a DM and other players. We’ve played a couple of sessions but not loads and have tried a few other TTRPG’s but we really want to give DnD a proper go with a longer campaign, or even one-shots. I’m interested in potentially GMing in the future but right now just looking to play and learn. We’re Darlington based and unable to drive so must be this location. Currently unable to host (we are in the frustrating process of buying our first home) so would need to utilise other locations.

My partner (41m) and I (39f) are looking for a new DnD group - to start or to join - and make friends. We've just finished a 3 year campaign, which my partner GMed. He would like to be a player but wouldn't mind GMing again. For a short campaign or one-shot I would also like to try my hand as a GM sometime. We would be looking to play in person Sundays or Friday evenings, ideally on a weekly-ish basis, but schedules can get stupid busy, so happy to do fortnightly or even once per month. We have played Call of Cthulu and DnD 5e with freely available sources (core rulebooks), but are happy to explore other High Fantasy systems. As we are based in Darlington, we would ideally be looking for fellow adventurers in Darlington or around a 20ish minute drive away. We're always happy to host, but are equally open to taking turns, or to regularly venture out to other places if that is a requirement (eg if there are access needs that have to be accommodated, or if someone has pets that can't be left alone, etc.). From experience it's always good to meet for coffee or something for a general vibe and expectation check before committing to anything longer term (worse than dating, I know, but it's honestly better to have a chat about what is expected of the game and how it's been approached in the past, and potentially realising that expectations don't align before jumping in and being really disappointed).

2 of us are looking to play a full DnD Campaign ideally in person if possible, but open to online as well. Played lot of incomplete Campaigns online which fell through unfortunately. Looking to join a Campaign thats is consistent. One of us has more experience (DM'ed several campaigns, but want to be a player for a change! )

Looking for potential other groups to play with as well as my existing ones. I'm a long time RPG player & experienced DM in several mixed-age groups over the years (ranging in age from 20s up to 60s like me). Nowadays we mostly play 3.5 & 5e D&D and Call of Cthulhu, but with a bit of Pathfinder and other alternative systems mixed in. I'm currently in two hybrid groups playing regularly on midweek evenings with the occasional one off at weekends. Sometimes it is all online, but mostly we try for face to face sessions with perhaps one or two online players who live quite a distance away. I'm willing and able to host at home or happy to travel any reasonable distance to play. I'm retired so have no restrictions on time.

I've been playing D&D 5e pretty much for the last 5 years, although I haven't properly played in over a year. I DM'd a 5e campaign for about a year which ended abruptly. I have played bits of other systems like Masks: A New Generation and a Star Trek RPG and I'm looking to try some more. I have mostly only played online on Discord but I really want to play some in-person games. I'm open to DM/GMing games but I'd rather just be a player while I get used to in-person play. I have also been writing some of my own systems which I'd like to playtest in the near future.
