When we first began as a group meeting up to play cards and board games at the Railway public house, we have since evolved into playing Euro-style gaming. About four years ago, we moved to our current place in the Sandford Park Ale House which has its own upstairs room. It has some of the best beers in Cheltenham, and the food is pretty good too. We work to be an encompassing community for gaming in Cheltenham and interact with other groups. Our aim is to make it a great environtment for gamers, where people can share info and play together. And, although we charge a nominal attendance fee, no money is made. On Thursdays we gather before 7PM to form smaller groups and play games until 10PM, sometimes extending until closing time. We have a diverse group from 18 to 60 years old, and a lot of women. We usually get 30 people each week. A splinter group meets on Monday, and every two months we organize a big game Sunday. It's a good chance for like-minded gamers to get together and also to go to events and conventions together. If you're interested, please come by and join us, and bring your ideas while you're at it.
