Looking to start playing DnD. Tabletop-wise I am nearly a complete beginner (went to one one-shot session and loved it) with only one previous premade character. I AM looking into creating a completely new character to play with, but still looking into the best way to do it. My other experience with roleplaying was mostly video games in the 90s, the good stuff (Baldurs gate games, Icewind dale, planescape torment etc.)

30, moved to Bristol last month with my partner and don't know anyone in the city yet. Started playing non-D&D TTRPGs over the last year and while I'm always happy to return to D&D I'd love to find a group that wants to play some other systems (e.g., Call of Cthulhu, Vampire the Masquerade, Vaesen, Heart, Delta Green, Witcher, etc etc) I've done more GM-ing than playing and I'm always happy to take the plunge and learn/run a new system

Hi folks - I'm 31, recently moved to Bristol and looking for some TTRPG pals. I've played a few 5E campaigns and done a bit of GMing, so would be up for some more 5E but also keen to explore other systems. I tend to prefer games with a greater focus on narrative, character, exploration and intrigue. But I can also definitely enjoy some crunchy mechanics-heavy stuff as well. Always happy to host people of a variety of familiarity in the hobby who are willing to try out some of the less well-known TTRPG rulesets. I personally enjoy doing less crunchy 5e tactics and more rules-light off-the-cuff rulings with plenty of space for player ingenuity. I personally love to run Old School Essentials, Shadowdark, Troika! and whatever else I've got in my books and pdfs.
